City of Jackson Planning Commission_ Notice of Vacancy

 

            The City of Jackson is accepting applications for two positions on the Jackson Planning Commission.  Desirable candidates will be able to dedicate time to monthly meetings.  Knowledge of planning and development related matter’s is desirable, but not mandatory.  Applicants must reside within the City of Jackson, and will be appointed by the City Council to serve a two year term.

             The Jackson Planning Commission meets the third Monday of each month at 6:30 PM.  In addition to considering routine land use applications, Planning Commission duties in the next two years will involve working on the City’s General Plan update, and implementing the City’s development standards.
