Jackson Revitalization Committee

The Jackson Revitalization Committee (JRC) evolved from an economic development workshop the City Council conducted in January 2008 and a group of citizens interested in pursuing the implementation of ideas spawned from this workshop.  The JRC’s mission is to organize a group of persons interested in revitalizing the City of Jackson; recruiting and retaining new businesses and industries; sustaining a growing economy; thus enriching the lives and experiences of Jackson property owners, merchants, residents and tourists.

Jackson Business Planner Guide Now Available!  The Jackson Revitalization Committee has produced a new information resource to help recruit business into Jackson.  The guide includes information about how to start a business in Jackson, key contact information for government and services necessary to get started, as well as a map and demographics for the area.  Click on the title link or check out the Revitalization Committee page for more information. New Jackson Business and Community Association Up and Running!  The City is excited about the formation of a new business association dedicated to increasing visibility and profitability of its members, with an emphasis on community, history and a positive business environment. For more information about the organization and membership, go to www.jacksonbca.comClick here for a membership application.
